  • Teresina team reduced 1 tonne of CO2e emissions through waste diversion from landfills, created a circular economy in partnership with local restaurants and the municipality of Teresina, Brazil, for local composting, soil production, and food security; the team went on to create a blueprint to scale this work stepwise to 10 tonnes and above in their community, and eventually to consult in other municipalities throughout Brazil.

  • Collaborated with an international team of coaches in 61 countries to share best practices, align to industry standards for greenhouse gas emissions calculation, and to scale local solutions to build capacity for a longer-term global goal to reduce 1 billion tonnes per year of greenhouse gas emissions.
